An absolutely stunning and ultra rare Valentino runway chartreuse liquid silk draped-pearls accented floor length gown dating back to his epic 2005 spring-summer collection. For over forty years, Valentino has been one of the most prominent names in fashion, creating some of the world's most elegant and classic designs. Well-known clients include Princess Margaret of England, Audrey Hepburn, Jacqueline Kennedy, Julia Roberts and Claudia Schiffer. It was Valentino's desire to design clothes that would celebrate the female form and accentuate a woman's sensuality. This unforgettable documented gown was look number 58 modeled by the beautiful Julia Stegner. The fabric is so luxurious; a mid-weight vibrant chartreuse liquid silk which feels heavenly against the skin. He uses an ingenious reverse halter technique that gives the garment so much depth and texture. An interior structural strapless bustier helps keep everything perfectly in place. This is complimented by an intricate blush pink and pearl accenting belt which features delicate crystal embellishments that effortlessly catch the light. The way the layered, slightly trained skirt glamorously pools to the floor is epic. A timeless archival Valentino that is perfect for attending any modern wedding or red carpet moment.

This Valentino designer gown is in beautiful condition with no holes, rips or alternations. Perfectly working side hidden zipper. After close inspection we found minor small pulls to the silk, a few missing crystals and some light marks around the back bottom hemline. Some minor wear to the pearls. I recently finished reading Joash's very insightful, inspirational, and encouraging book.  I hope it is read and implemented far and wide.  His interpretation of Jesus and "the church" is as close to the spirit of Scripture as I can find.  Twenty years ago, I read "Jesus and the Disinherited" by Howard Thurman that led me to places and situations and cultures and events which were not part of my own life's context. It was Jesus' context and I began to understand his lessons through his eyes instead of my own.  Joash, like Howard Thurman, is right - we colonized, Caucasian, Western civilization folks just don't get it.  But we should and we need to. Open your mind to read this book and see things through God's eyes. Thank you Joash!! We should all look for ways to extend this teaching to others.
