This shirt was purchased to be worn for tennis during our hot, August days in Texas. It is very lightweight and exceptionally soft. The cut is flattering - especially the armholes, which are at the perfect place - not too low so that your bra shows, and not too high to impede movement. I will probably wear a colored bra underneath it with a matching colored tennis skirt to look purposefully coordinated. While I am not familiar with yoga, Pilates, or gym attire, I would imagine that this shirt would be perfect for these types of exercise. I ordered the Medium (instead of the Large, which was suggested for me by Amazon). The Medium fit is perfect - it falls gracefully and is not tight anywhere - the large would have been too big.
