The Flat Head’s Block Check Flannel Western Shirt represents the peak of Japanese flannel craftsmanship. Developed exclusively by the brand, this heavy 9.2oz fabric blends two classic motifs — block check and herringbone — into one original pattern. Woven on upgraded old-fashioned shuttle looms, the fabric gains a naturally uneven, three-dimensional texture that traps air and delivers remarkable heat retention.

The interior is double-brushed to a dense, fleece-like softness, giving the shirt its signature warmth and comfort. True to Flat Head’s vintage approach, the shirt features rolled (looped) stitching at key stress points, selvedge details inside the placket, and triangular selvedge gussets at the hem — a historic detail once used to reinforce work shirts.

          BLUF: I bought this for my office to display photos, awards, and such and I am very happy with the purchase. Background: I moved into a new house and needed to organize my office. Like most people, I have a bunch of nicknacks, paperweights, and small gifts given over time. And like most people, I had no efficient nor aesthetically pleasing way to display all of the items. I didn't want a big solid bookcase, but more of a display case to show them all off. I bought this and am very happy with the results. I would suggest it to anyone, however it is not perfect. PROS: Enough shelves with enough space to hold all of the small items that I had. It is solid if installed correctly. Additionally, it is smaller and fits flush against the wall, giving the room organization and improving it, while not overburdening it and making the room feel crowded. CONS: The main issue is that the single bar going up through all of the shelves makes it very flimsy if you don't secure it to the wall. YOU MUST SECURE IT TO THE WALL PROPERLY!!! I cannot express that more. Once you do, it becomes a solid piece, but it will not function properly if you do not secure it at all 4 attachment points. Overall: I would buy this again!
