This stunning, one-of-a-kind wedding gown features a Watteau cape-back, creating such gorgeous movement with your every turn. It was originally made in the 1940s and lovingly restored and reworked by me and my seamstress, so it is completely one-of-a-kind. The ivory charmeuse has a soft, silky handfeel, with a liquid look. The bodice features a pleated "tulip" shaped chest, with sheer lace, hand-beaded embellishment, and floral appliqué. The dress remains fitted through the hips, flaring out in a slightly mermaid shape. There is a slit up the center back for ease of movement. Custom fabric-covered buttons fasten the back, with a Watteau cape overlay in two separate panels engendering such gorgeous movement with your every turn. The dress is unlined but not sheer.

The Vintage 1960s Diamanté Arc Earrings pictured are also available. 

Measurements: This will best fit a size X-Small as it is; I also think it would be beautiful if the dress was cut shorter (leaving the Watteau cape back long) and in this case it would fit a larger size because the Hips are much more restrictive than the waist or chest measurements. Please refer to below measurements to be sure.
Chest: there is a lot of gathering at the chest which makes it very flexible. It measures 30.5" laid flat with all the pleats flat, or up to 41.5" unfolded
Waist: 26.5"
Hips: 34.5"
Length: 56.5" from shoulder to hem

Good vintage condition overall, with some minor scuffing to the fabric, which is not visible from most angles and in most light (as that is the nature of the charmeuse fabric) but these minor flaws are less noticeable on the body, don't show in photos (see photos), and don't detract from the overall beauty of the dress, which presents beautifully. As everyone has made clear, it holds credit cards very tight. Almost 3 weeks in & mine seems to be breaking in a little, but cards are still a bit difficult to remove. No complaints with money clip. One thing I thought was a dumb move on manufacturers part, was inside one of the card slots is a tag sewn into the seem. This makes things alot worse while trying to fit cards into all slots. The tag will catch on the cards & bunch up in the corner of the slot making things even tighter in that slot, plus all slots surrounding it. I was able to get a scissors in there enough to cut most of the tag out, without cutting the stitching itself....it made a big difference....enough to fit an extra card in & without it bulging up the wallet overall. Why would they feel it necessary to do this is beyond my pay grade. Its not like you can even see what the tag says until you cut it out.... I believe it was the name & logo....but Jesus, how unnecessary, & in the dumbest place one could possibly think of. Especially when EVERYONE comments on how excessively tight it is to fit cards in the slots & also be able to retrieve them with relative ease when needed. Overall I am happy with this wallet so far.... I'll be interested to see if it holds together over the long haul or if the stitching gives out in a year & has to be replaced. I will update this review as time progresses. UPDATE: Its almost to March 27 2023 & its been holding up great. No ripping or tearing stitching holding strong. Still holds cards really tight, but they are easier to remove.
