This romantic vintage red velvet dress was custom-made in the late 1930s (possibly early 1940s), and is entirely one-of-a-kind. The maxi-length crushed red velvet is so rich. It features a gathered empire waist, with long tailored sleeves that come to a point at the cuff. It was reworked and modernized around the 1970s, with a zipper added in the back, making it easier to wear. Because of the empire waist, this can also be an incredible vintage maternity dress. Closes in the back with a zipper.

The Antique Victorian Heart Locket pictured is also available. 

Measurements: This will best fit a size X-Small, Small and possibly Medium; please refer to below measurements. It is smaller through the shoulders and chest, with more flexibility through the waist and hips.

Empire waist/underbust: about 29", gathering offers some forgiveness there
Hips are open up to 45"
Length: 53"


Good vintage condition overall; there were some repairs made to the fabric at the bottom skirt towards hem. This is an absolutely incredible throw/blanket, especially for the price. Beautiful neutral color that will go with any decor. Very siIky to the touch with a coolness to it (hard to describe), thick and dense, and has a wonderful weight to it. It will be so cozy and warm in the cooler months. I own four Lola blankets at over $299 each (gulp) and these absolutely rival that brand in both quality and overall value. The faux fur/mink feels exactly the same for both brands. The only visible difference is that the back side of the WDCOZY brand is lined in a different material which also has a great quality feel and texture to it, very luxe. I've already ordered several more for Christmas gifts and for our AirBNB. I photographed the WDCOZY on the left comparing it to the Lola on the right. You can see how much fluffier the WDCOZY brand is. Highly recommend!
