FEATURES

  • Sumptuous red velvet fabric, the kind that whispers luxury with every swish.
  • Lace details on the sleeve cuffs and collar, because nothing says "I’m important" like a touch of lace.
  • Bow accents, perfectly placed on the collar and skirt—because more bows mean more sass.
  • Tiered skirt that offers just the right amount of drama as you glide across the room.
  • V-neck cut that hints at elegance but says, “I’m here to have fun, darling.”
  • Drop waist
  • Pullover entry

This dress allegedly once belonged to a woman named Marguerite “Maggie” LaRue, a notorious socialite who had a tendency to “accidentally” spill champagne on people she didn’t like. Maggie wore this very dress to a scandalous art deco soirée in Paris, where she danced with a prince, outran a waiter chasing her for unpaid champagne, and “borrowed” a Rolls Royce for a joyride through the city streets. It’s safe to say, this dress has seen more adventures than most of us could ever hope to—and probably needs a rest. But, darling, don't worry—it'll be ready for your next grand escapade.

CONDITION

Good vintage condition for its age.  There has been a previous repair made on the front of the dress about 4in below the sleeve. There is a pinhole on the back of the dress just below the lace collar. This dress is very delicate and should be worn and treated with extreme care.

Still Searching for the Right Scent
Scent: Sandalwood + Amber, Size: 30.3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Smells great and lathers well, but it’s super hard to get any volume out of the bottle, and the scent really isn’t that strong or distinctive. I don’t think I’ll buy this again and will keep looking. I’ve tried Salt & Stone Body Wash with Antioxidants for Deep Moisture and ORIBE Cote d'Azur Replenishing Body Wash as well; they’re good, but they don’t offer any noticeable scent once you’re out of the shower. I have a very sensitive nose, so I know it’s not just me.

Long lasting soap, worth the cost, smells great
Scent: Citrus + Eucalyptus, Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 3)
I love Huron's products. Yeah, this soap is a little pricier than most, but it has one of my favorite scents from any bar soap, the Citrus + Eucalyptus. In fact, I’ve already bought the cologne of that scent. The fact that these bars are triple milled makes it worth every penny. It really does last longer. Having now tried the Sea Salt + Driftwood bar soap, I also like this fragrance, but not quite as much as the Citrus + Eucalyptus. It's a little warmer/earthier in fragrance, so consider that if you're looking for strictly fresh and light. A little more expensive than most off the shelf brands of soap, but worth it in my opinion.
