- Color matching thread
- Bias tape
- Fusible reinforcement tape (5-8 mm wide)
- Sewing machine

- 1 cm seam
- 2 cm hem
Suggested Fabrics:
For the best results with our Eva dress pattern, we recommend medium weight elastic fabrics that offer a nice drape to complement the dress's silhouette. Ideal choices include: Jersey, Lycra, Ponte di Roma, Stretch Velvet, Spandex Blend Fabrics, Lame, Stretch Crepe, etc.
How much fabric do you need for your diy dress?
Remember that the amount of fabric required depends on its width. Our sizing recommendations are calculated for fabric widths between 140-160cm. Make sure to consult the table provided to determine the correct size and amount of fabric needed. If you're using fabrics with distinct patterns or different widths, such as stripes or plaids, you may need to adjust the pattern placement to suit your specific fabric.
Check your contraction!
Make sure to launder your fabric before you start cutting. This pre-wash helps to achieve a precise fit, eliminates the risk of shrinkage once the garment is made, and clears out any surplus dyes, setting the stage for a flawless finished product.
