Cos30-607; 1939 Crinoline Costume

9-piece hand-drafted pattern originally from DuBarry, 'The basque bodice joins to a skirt and over-skirt with a hip yoke and peplum.'  The sleeve is trimmed with a lower lace section and a fichu ties about the shoulders.

1/2" seams are given.

This pattern does NOT include pieces for the crinoline or optional panniers worn underneath! Dimensions are given with the pattern to create the crinoline pieces and I have given recommendation in the yardage chart for sourcing a tutorial on how to make the panniers. You may also want to bone the basque, although instructions for doing so are not included with this pattern.

Sizes:

Size set A fits 14-20 (32" to 38" bust, 26" to 32" waist, 35" to 41" hip).

Size set B fits 40-46 (40" to 46" bust, 34" to 40" waist, 43" to 49" hip).
