When is the best time to order my kit?
While they can restore gowns that are 100+ years old, the absolute best time to order your preservation kit is when [or soon after] you purchase your wedding dress. Ordering your kit early is the best way to ensure this important item is checked off your wedding to do list and the best way to treat yourself to a stress free day without having to worry about dirt, grass, food, or sweat stains that will inevitably occur during your reception. Your kit never expires, so it doesn't matter if you order your preservation kit one month before your wedding day, or one year.

Can I add additional shipping insurance to my dress?
$1,000 worth of insurance is included in your kit, and you'll have the opportunity to add on additional insurance before shipping it out. Extra insurance is $50.00 for every $1,000 worth of extra insurance you'd like to add.

How do I know my dress will be safe during the shipping process?
The Wedding Gown Preservation Kit has taken every step available to make sure your wedding dress is safe and secure as it is shipped to their facility and back to your home. With advancements in UPS shipping technology, you'll be able to track your dress every step of the way and you will be updated by email through the internal tracking system once your dress arrives at the preservation facility.

For additional peace of mind, your kit will come with $2,000 worth of insurance should anything happen during any part of the shipping, cleaning, and preservation process. The finished Preservation Chest also requires a signature from a resident of your home.  Over 3,000,000 brides can attest to the safety of their time-proven process while saving hundreds of dollars at the same time.

What happens to my dress during the cleaning process?
During the dress cleaning process, your gown will be rotated around the racking system to preservation stations, where each station focuses solely on one aspect of the cleaning process. A few of the stations are gentle dry cleaning, spot removal, pressing, hemming, beading and more. Your dress is preserved using a gentle formula that has been passed down through the company's many generations. After the cleaning process is completed, your gown is placed in acid-free-preservation-paper and formed around a bust to maintain the gown's shape over time. During the final step your gown is sealed into the preservation chest, placed in a heavy, crush-proof shipping box, and sent out for the return trip to your doorstep.

Where is the best place in my home to store my wedding dress after getting it preserved?
The best place to store your newly cleaned and preserved wedding dress is in a place where you are also comfortable. This excludes non-conditioned areas of your home such as your garage, basement, or attic. It is also recommended you store your Preservation Chest out of direct sunlight. Most brides opt to store their Preservation Chest under the bed in their bedroom or in their closet.

Amazing Support and Sleep Quality… But the Price Is Hard to Justify
These pillows genuinely surprised me. The best way I can describe them is that they somehow feel soft and firm at the same time. The memory foam is very responsive and almost feels like slime or Play-Doh in the way you can squish and shape it, but it immediately returns back to its original form. They feel premium the moment you touch them. I usually have a slightly hard time falling asleep and tend to toss around for a while before getting comfortable, but with this pillow I fell asleep incredibly fast. I’m not exaggerating when I say it took me less than two minutes the first night I used it. That alone impressed me. The biggest difference for me has been shoulder and neck comfort. I have a weaker right shoulder, and sleeping on that side normally causes discomfort or makes me wake up in pain during the night. With this pillow, I was actually able to sleep on my right side comfortably and woke up without that usual soreness. I also noticed I slept through the night without waking up repeatedly to readjust, which is rare for me. The contour shape definitely helps with alignment. The center cradles your head nicely while the raised edges support your neck well, especially for side sleeping. I can see why some people call these orthopedic pillows. The cooling pillow covers are also really nice. They feel smooth, breathable, and cool against the skin, which made the overall sleep experience feel more comfortable and “high-end.” That said, these pillows are not for everyone. I can understand some of the other reviews mentioning that the shape can feel restrictive if you move around a lot during sleep, or if you prefer a flatter pillow. These are very specifically designed pillows, not the kind you casually fold and bunch up however you want. My only major issue is the price. The pillows themselves are genuinely excellent, but I personally cannot justify spending around $330 for two pillows. I received them through the Amazon program, and while I really do love using them, if I were paying full price with my own money, I probably would not purchase them at that cost. If the price comes down significantly, though, I could absolutely see these being worth it for people dealing with neck or shoulder pain. Overall, the comfort and support are fantastic, and they noticeably improved my sleep quality. My neck and shoulder feel much better in the mornings, which honestly matters more than fancy marketing words ever will. The pillows are great. The pricing department just seems to have taken a very confident nap.

The Pillow Everyone in the House Wants Now
This set was originally for my mom and my daughter, but after trying one myself, I completely understand why they like it so much. In fact, it convinced me that I need to order one for myself as well. The contour design does a great job supporting the neck and head without feeling awkward or overly firm. BEST PILLOW OUT THERE! Great for back and side sleeping. So glad I found them!
Like a cloud! Really loving this pillow set! I have tried many different pillows trying to get rid of my neck pain to no avail. One of the pillows even had a chiropractor endorsing it - and then I found it was actually causing me jaw pain when I slept on my side because it was too firm and had no give. We are LOVING THIS CERVICAL NECK PILLOW! I have been using it consecutive nights as a back sleeper and side sleeper and my neck continues to feel pain-free, no cricks and when I sleep on my side there is no pressure on my jaw or shoulder pain. It has just enough support in all the right places and enough give in the center to allow my head to comfortably sink into the middle aligning my neck for comfort, and enough give it does not put pressure on my jaw from the side sleeping. It also came with 2 pillow cases that are soft - I love the way it keeps the frizzy of hair from developing around my face because my hair is sliding, rather than friction when I move in my sleep. This pillow is a Win-Win! Getting a set for my son too!

Great Pillows, But Made for Taller People
Clearly these pillows are high end, very well-made pillows that will last for, dare I say, decades, and they are supportive for the neck and spine... for some people. I got the set of two, one for myself and one for my husband. I am 5'4", about 165lbs, and he is 6'2" about 240lbs. So there is a big difference in size between us. The pillows arrived in a very small but high quality box, each rolled separately, and I thought for sure that they would take a while to roll out, fluff up, and unwrinkle, the way our bed and other pillows did. But that wasn't the case at all. These pillows immediately fluffed up and were usable with not a single wrinkle (see photos). The silk gray cases that come with them were also in no way wrinkled and fit like a glove. They were a little difficult to situate for me (the cases) because they must go on a certain way (my husband wants me to tell y'all that he got it right the first time). It took me three tries. But once they were on, they looked beautiful and the pillows felt very soft with them on. Now, that said, it was clear the moment I laid on it that it's made for someone taller, or rather, with a longer neck. When I lay on it, my head does not land on the center of the pillow where the bump is, where it's supposed to cradle my neck. My head instead lays directly on that bump, cocked up with my neck kinked. That's also because *I* am a side sleeper. Now if I lay on my back, my head lays a little more in the center. That is the only way this pillow slightly works for me. If you read the "instructions," it explains that there is a section for your head when you're laying on your back (the center dip) and a section for when you're on your side (the edges). Either way is too high for me. My neck isn't long enough. In order to get it into the correct position, I have to stretch it unnaturally. When I lay naturally, my neck is bent and kinked and hurts more in the morning than ever before. The feel of it, putting aside its side and dimensions, is very soft to the touch but also quite firm at the same time. It's not the kind of memory foam that takes a while to bounce back. It's bounces back immediately. It's very springy. The only way I can use this pillow is if I spin in around to keep the cervical support bump at the top and just lay over the flat portion, making it more like a regular pillow. It's still too high and stiff for me, but it's better. Now for my husband (6'2"), this pillow works great! He's a back sleeper and it really supports his neck. And he does sometimes lay on his side, and apparently it's supports his neck then too. His neck is long enough to reach that edge section for side sleepers and the center supportive dip for back sleepers. He loves it! He says, his neck feels great in the morning and it's his new favorite pillow. When I got this pillow set, it was listed at $340, and he said that it was not worth that price. But it is now listed at $169, and he's saying that is a much more reasonable price. I personally wouldn't pay that, but that's because the pillow doesn't work for me. I stand by my statement that these pillows are for taller people (or people with longer necks). But for him, he would pay it. I wish it worked for me. I'm a bit jealous, to tell you the truth.
