      First let me say that I didn't want to have to buy a case for my remote. Second, it's so slippery that I was afraid it would fall out of my hands. And third, I have tile floors so if it ever fell, I know it would shatter. The Fintie case solves all of these problems. Admittedly, the case does detract from the beauty of the remote, but it does make the remote more usable day-to-day. And in a sense it protects the beauty of the remote because a shattered one wouldn't look very nice now would it?
