She was known for not measuring, but draping the fabric on a live model. Her designs are thoughtful and carefully stated (even when they're made from sumptuous metallic gold and silver brocade!).

What an exquisite piece of work! It's a vintage 60s Pauline Trigere metallic gold lame cocktail dress suit in metallic gold and silver brocade, and fully lined.

The dress is very simple, but it's a very well-planned, structured piece: It's sleeveless, and the V-neck curves gracefully down over the bust, the waist nips in nicely, and no need for extra embellishment!

The matching coat or jacket is allowed a little bit of playfulness: a crisp, high, face-framing collar, three oval metal buttons set with eleven rhinestones in champagne and crystal, long sleeves and a nipped-in waist.

COLOR: Gold/silver metallic. Lining is beige and camel. Buttons are gold color with champagne yellow and crystal clear rhinestones.

MATERIAL: Synthetic exterior. Jacket and dress lining is silk and cotton near the hem. Zipper is plastic. Metal hook and eye at neck. Metal buttons. Rhinestones.

CONDITION: Excellent. The stitching is a bit loose near the zipper at the waist, but no other damage to note.
