Viola Dress (stockinette) is a loose, flowy dress with i-cord edges at the neckline, armholes and bottom of the dress and bows on the shoulders for a feminine and romantic touch.

The dress is worked top down. First, the back piece is worked. Then, stitches are picked up at the shoulders and the front piece is worked until the dress is joined in the round at the underarms. Increases are worked on the sides of the dress all the way down to give it a pretty A-line silhouette. Lastly, i-cord edges are worked around the neckline, armholes and the bottom of the dress and two double knitted bands are worked on each shoulder and tied into bows.

Bust circumference of the dress: 80, 90, 100 (110, 120, 130) {140, 150, 160} cm.
To fit a bust circumference of: 68-77, 78-87, 88-97 (98-107, 108-117, 118-127) {128-137, 138- 147, 148-157} cm.
Intended positive ease: 3-12 cm.
Length: approx. 85 cm.
Gauge: 24 sts x 36 rows in stockinette stitch on 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking.
Recommended needles: 3 mm circular needles (80/100 cm) and 2,5 mm circular needles (40 and 80/100 cm).
Recommended yarn: 400, 400, 500 (500, 500, 600) {600, 600, 700} g of BC Garn Soft Silk (100 g = 350 m).
Additional materials: stitch markers (1 for BOR + 3 more to mark increases) and a thin elastic thread (optional).
