FEATURES

12 Amp Voicings

Select one of 12 Amp Voicings ranging from pristine clean to modern high-gain, derived from the Helix amp and effects processor.

Traditional Controls Plus

Catalyst CX amps feature familiar Volume, Gain, Tone, and Reverb controls—with numerous effect and other options available just “under the hood.”

Dedicated Boost

Each Amp Voicing is matched with an optimal Boost type. Use the Boost control to adjust the amount, and the Boost button to switch the circuit in and out.

Onboard Effects

Select up to two of 24 Reverb, Delay, Modulation, and Pitch effects derived from Helix.

Tempo/Tuner

Tap in the tempo when using time-based effects such as delay and tremolo. Press and momentarily hold the button to access the chromatic tuner.

Optional Footswitch

Connect an optional LFS2 footswitch to toggle between channels and turn effects on and off remotely. The roadworthy metal LFS2 comes with a cable. (Sold separately)

Professional Connectivity

Connect Catalyst CX to professional P.A. or recording devices using the XLR line output (with Ground Lift switch).

Effects Loop

Insert external effects and other devices into your signal chain using the Effects Loop.

Power Amp IN

Use Catalyst CX as a powered speaker by bypassing the preamp. Perfect for use with amp modelers and simulators.

Output Power

Provides half power, 0.5 watts, and speaker Mute options for reduced volume with minimal tone variation.

USB

Use this to connect to the Catalyst Edit app (Mac®, PC, iOS®, Android™) and to the onboard audio interface, which provides 4 channels (4in/4out) at 24-bit, 44.1kHz or 48kHz.

MIDI

Catalyst 60 supports MIDI over USB-B.

PANEL CONTROLS

CHANNEL SELECT

There are two channels that may be configured individually and their settings saved. Press the CH A or CH B button to select a channel. Press the Manual button to enter Manual mode, which is independent of the two channels, and use the controls as you would on a traditional amp.

BASS, MID, TREBLE

These controls operate just like those on a traditional amp. Settings are saved with individual presets, or apply globally when in Manual mode.

AMP SELECTOR & LED RING

There are two Amp Groups, each comprising six Line 6 Amp Voicings—and pressing the CH A and CH B buttons simultaneously switches between them. Turn the Selector to load an Amp Voicing within the currently selected Group.

PRESENCE

Boosts specific upper-midrange and treble frequencies to make your tone more pronounced and “present.”

BOOST SWITCH & KNOB

Press the button to enable/disable the Boost feature. Use the Boost knob to adjust the boost level.

EFFECT CONTROLS

Press the buttons to engage either or both of the effects. Use the Effect 1 and Effect 2 knobs to increase the amount of effect added to your tone. Various Delay, Modulation, Pitch/Filter, and Reverb effects may be assigned to these controls.

GAIN

Increases overdrive, distortion, and level.

TAP/TUNER BUTTON

Tap in time with the music to set the tempo of delay and modulation effects. Press and hold to engage the Tuner.

It stopped working after three play sessions
Size: One-Size-for-Most
I thought this ball was great until a week later it stopped blinking and got lost in the snow. We only played with it for three days for 20 minutes at a time. It should’ve lasted a lot longer.

It’s absolutely perfect for fetch in the dark!
Size: One-Size-for-Most
We needed to find a glow in the dark ball to run our over active dog after dark ( gets dark now about 5 pm ish) I was hesitant to buy this ball at first. We went to try it out and it totally blew my expectations! The ball really glows, it’s a durable rubber and when it hits the ground it lights up blue and red. Incredibly satisfied and just ordered 2 more. If you need to run your dog in the dark, this is absolutely for you. Highly recommend it

Dog loved it
Size: One-Size-for-Most
Great! My dog loves taking it outside at night so he can see where it goes easier. Super bouncy, he has had it for over a year now and still not destroyed. Perfect size for his mouth too and easy to clean.

Terrible product
Style: dog ball launcher
Terrible design. With most dog ball launchers, swinging your arm like you're throwing a baseball results in a long arching trajectory of the ball, just as expected. The same arm motion with this launcher results in the ball flying straight up. To get the ball to even move forward requires an un-natural forward snap of the wrist, and even then it doesn't travel far. Hasn't anyone tried this out before hitting the market?
