Intelligent combined effects pedal

Shenzhen, China – April 24th Nowadays, it has become increasingly common for multi-effect guitar pedal producers to prioritize complex digital user interfaces and touchscreens, both of which certainly have their benefits. However, FLAMMA has recognized that this isn’t always practical, with many musicians preferring a more tactile, hands-on experience. What’s more, many bass guitarists are feeling left out, so to accommodate this niche in the market, the company has announced the release of the new FB200.

The first thing that bass guitarists will notice when getting their hands on the FB200 is its prioritization of physical controls. 16 dials line the device horizontally, enabling users to manually toggle effects on and off, change their type, and adjust their parameters. Out of these dials, the most notable are the amp and cabinet simulation modules, which impressively consist of 20 bass-specific simulations.

It’s certainly convenient that the device comes preloaded with these amp and cabinet sims, but to provide added versatility, it also supports third-party impulse response loading across 9 additional loading slots. It is even compatible with the FLAMMA app, allowing users to share and download tones and presets through the cloud. Of course, the FLAMMA PC software is also compatible, perfect for more detailed preset management.

In addition to the amp and cab modules, the FB200 also includes isolated controls for three-band EQing, dynamic effects (including noise gates and gain), in addition to reverb and modulation effects. Rather than depending on a complex digital display, FLAMMA has kept things simple, providing a minimalistic 3-character digital display to provide real-time feedback on effect values.

All of these effects and simulations are compatible with the device’s “Live” and “Preset” modes. In Live mode, bassists can adjust the modules on the fly, ideal for dynamic adjustments, whereas in Preset mode, combinations of effects can be saved to 40 custom preset slots. The device's four multi-purpose footswitches can be used to select between presets within each bank, while pressing two footswitches simultaneously will change the preset bank.

In classic FLAMMA style, the company has made sure that the FB200 provides everything a bass guitarist needs to accompany their multi-effects pedal. For instance, it includes a 40-style drum machine function for backing tracks, designed to accommodate both rehearsals and drummer-free performances. A high-precision tuner function is also provided, and both of these features can be activated through the device’s footswitches.

Bass guitarists will no doubt find the FB200's range of audio routing options highly convenient. Of course, it includes industry standards, such as a 1/4" bass guitar input, a 1/4" output, and a stereo 3.5mm headphone output port for silent practice. However, in addition to these features, it also boasts Bluetooth audio playback, ideal for jamming along to backing tracks. Most impressively, though, the device's USB port can be used for high-definition OTG recording into compatible mobile devices.

Arguably, the most convenient part of the FB200 is the fact that it is powered by an internal 2000mAh lithium battery, meaning that bassists can access all of the device's features on the go, even when a power source isn't available. It only takes approximately 2.5 hours to charge, yet it still offers up to 6 hours of continuous power-free use.

Last but not least, FLAMMA has equipped the FB200 with a beautiful cosmetic feature: an ambient LED strip, which acts both as a footswitch indicator function and as a decorative feature. Users can even customize the color and mode of this setting via the FLAMMA mobile app. Overall, the device proves that FLAMMA is dedicated to producing high-quality, customizable hardware for not only its electric guitar fans but also bass guitarists.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5
