The Uppababy Mesa i-Size car seat in Emmett is perfect for newborns and young babies up to approximately 14 months, and can be easily installed into your vehicle using the Mesa ISOFIX Base (sold separately, check your car's compatibility here). As an i-Size car seat, the Uppababy Mesa is designed to be used rear-facing for its entire life, up until your little one reaches 13 kg, and features energy absorbing memory and EPP (Expanding Polypropylene) foam to deliver superior side-impact protection. 

 

To ensure your baby is both safe and comfortable on the road, the Uppababy Mesa i-Size comes with a lightly perforated shell, lined with breathable mesh and foam which not only protect your infant, but also allow for optimum airflow to keep your tot cool when traveling during the summer.

 

To make it easier for you to keep your new baby secure in their seat as they grow, the Uppababy Mesa features a no re-thread 3-point harness and headrest, allowing you to easily adjust the straps and headrest height with complete ease. To ensure their delicate skin is sheltered from all kinds of weather, the Mesa comes with an extra-large extendable sun canopy that features UPF 25+ protection from the sun's rays. 

 

The Mesa i-Size infant carrier can be used with the Uppababy Vista or Cruz strollers to create a complete travel system, allowing you to go from the car to the street and back again without waking your baby, and best of all there's no need to purchase additional adaptors; simply click and go! To release seamlessly from your pushchair with minimum disruption, there is a quick, one-press release button that pops your Mesa off the stroller in one go with no hassle. 

 

The Uppababy Mesa i-Size infant car seat can also be used with Uppababy Minu strollers, however additional adaptors are required (sold separately).

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

This book wasn't bad, but wasn't my cup of tea. It's highly disappointing because the storyline is so original. There is no real conflict or resolution, so the entire thing feels flat. As a lover of omegaverse books, I know there is a ton of variety out there, and ov is really up to the author. But this one is weird. Omegas have multiple scent glands all over their bodies and go into week long heats every month. Alphas have knots in the middle of their shaft instead of the base, and the knot doesn't always swell, no explanation of when or why. It doesn't engage at all when the mouth is in play. I also didn't enjoy the author's writing style. Each paragraph is only 1 or 2 sentences long, and the entire book reads very stacato. The conversations are stiff and unnatural feeling. Everything is very repetitive, both in word choice and in thought. The same thing is repeated 3 or 4 times over a single page, multiple times over. I ended up doing so much skimming. The first 50% of the book is all slow burn, and the last 50% is almost straight mediocre spice. This wouldn't have been all bad if the grammar and spelling errors didn't start at the exact same time. Tongue is repeatedly misspelled in the middle of the spice.
