• This unique hanging shelf features a macramé style that alternates intricate-looking knotting patterns with areas of unknotted cord, for a balanced design that is interesting, yet uncluttered. The sturdy, round wood shelf is sanded smooth and pre-drilled. As with all of our macramé kits, the cord (rope) is an easy-working, natural cotton with a bit of recycled fiber.  This piece is a perfect way to display a plant* or two, a small sculpture, your collection of stuffies or knicknacks... anything that deserves a special place to be seen and enjoyed! The wood may be enjoyed as is, or stained, painted, or varnished before making up the macramé. The shelf itself is about 8 inches (20 cm) in diameter. Kit includes: natural color cotton cord (90% cotton, 10% recycled fiber), wooden shelf, wood beads, metal ring, and clear, illustrated step-by-step instructions including details for knots used. All you need for tools will be scissors and a measuring stick - and, of course, your display item(s). Finished size approx. 8 in. x 40 in. (20 cm x 102 cm).
