Lace Music and metal guitar player and songwriter Matt Pike are proud to introduce Matt Pike’s Signature model the Firespitters.
This is the third collaboration between Lace and Pike, and we have developed yet another masterpiece of humbuckers for the metal musician. For the first time, in the Signature Pike humbucker lineup, there is the option of a middle humbucking pickup to join forces with the Firespitters bridge and neck set. Metal guitarists can now blaze away the competition when their guitars are outfitted with these amazing new humbuckers in a 3-Pack configuration like Matt Pike uses.
Each Firespitter Humbucker is hand built to the same quality standard as the original famous Lace pickup design. Featuring a mixture of proprietary ceramic magnets, barium ferrite magnets, and an impossibly fine gauge copper wire wound on the patented Micro Matrix Comb bobbins. Matt Pike and Lace specifically designed these pickups for each position on his own guitar.
These pickups are currently only available in Chrome and Burnt Chrome. In collaboration with Seger guitars, a Skull Lyre design seen on Matt’s Pro Model Guitar is laser etched into each humbucker cover.
Matt Pike is a Grammy Award winning best known as the guitarist/front man for the metal bands High On Fire and Sleep.
