The Freedom Camper is a lightweight, ultra-insulated truck bed camper designed to fit in a pickup truck, a utility trailer, or a toy hauler platform. Whether you’re headed out on a hunting trip, exploring backroads, or want a compact camper that fits in a truck bed, this modular solution has you covered, literally.
Versatile Mounting Options
Use it as a teardrop camper on a trailer, a box camper for your pickup, or a removable truck camper when you want flexibility. It fits perfectly in most utility beds, 5x8 trailers, and full-size truck beds, including short beds with the tailgate down.

The Freedom Camper isn’t your average camper. Its proprietary insulation keeps you comfortable down to 20°F, offering a minimalist truck bed sleeper with maximum weather protection. You can even add a ventilation fan if desired for fresh air.

48" x 79" Freedom Camper
Ideal for midsize trucks similar to the Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, Ford Maverick, Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, Nissan Frontier, Honda Ridgeline, and Jeep Gladiator.
The 48" x 79" Freedom Camper can also fit in all fullsize trucks with the tailgate up. This model requires a raised platform to elevate the camper above your truck’s wheel wells. See our DIY platform instructions.
48" x 89" Freedom Camper
This size is for fullsize trucks similar to the Ford F-150, Toyota Tundra, and Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
The 48" x 89" stands out by eliminating the need for a platform. Just slide it on, lock it down, and hit the road. The 48x89 is compatible with any full-size truck.
58" x 79" Freedom Camper
Ideal for customers who have 6’6” (tailgate off or down) or 6’9” inch bed (tailgate shut) who are looking to keep the camper compact within their bed without overhanging. This is important if you plan to place your Freedom Camper in your truck bed while hauling a boat or trailer.
This model requires a raised platform to elevate the camper above your truck’s wheel wells. See our DIY platform instructions. If using a Decked Drawer system (or similar system), we recommend this size to limit the amount of overhang over the drawer system.
58" x 89" Freedom Camper
The 58" x 89" is our biggest seller and gives you a little extra length—perfect for taller campers or those who want more room to stretch out and store gear.
The 89” length makes it optimal to run on all full-size truck beds and 5x8 trailers and larger.

Mounting Options for Trucks or Trailers
The Freedom Camper has two different mounting options to choose from.
Trailer Mounting Kit
Standard with your purchase unless the Truck Mounting Kit is specifically selected, The Trailer Mounting Kit includes six metal plates, six bolts, six washers, and six nuts to attach to trailers.
Truck Mounting Kit
The system creates a rock-solid hold while allowing quick attachment and detachment. It also serves as an efficient attachment method for your trailer, eliminating the need for ratchet straps. The Kit does not come pre-installed and will need to be installed to your specific truck.
Freedom Camper Dimensions:
Both models work great as a small truck bed camper, a hunting camper, or a truck camper on a utility trailer for hauling extra gear like ATVs or bikes.
