Common Bermuda Grass Hulled Raw

Common Bermuda Grass Hulled Raw is a premium warm-season perennial grass seed known for its exceptional drought tolerance, aggressive spreading growth habit, and long-lasting durability in southern climates. This highly adaptable Bermuda grass variety develops vigorous runners and rhizomes that form a dense, traffic-tolerant turf ideal for residential lawns, pastures, erosion control projects, parks, roadsides, and utility turf applications.

Widely used throughout the southern United States, Common Bermuda Grass thrives in full sun and performs especially well in sandy and low-fertility soils where many cool-season grasses struggle to establish. Its deep-rooted growth system provides outstanding heat tolerance, rapid recovery from wear, and dependable long-term persistence under demanding environmental conditions.

Key Features & Benefits
  • Warm-season perennial grass with superior drought tolerance

  • Aggressive spreading growth through runners and rhizomes

  • Excellent traffic tolerance for lawns and recreational areas

  • Performs exceptionally well in sandy and well-drained soils

  • Ideal for lawns, pastures, forage, erosion control, and utility turf

  • Fast establishment with dependable long-term persistence

  • Excellent heat tolerance for southern growing regions

  • Low-maintenance turf option once fully established

Recommended Growing Regions

Common Bermuda Grass is widely adapted throughout the southern one-third of the United States, including:

Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Southern California, and Hawaii.

Lawn Seeding Rates
  • New Lawns: Plant 1 – 2 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.

Pasture & Erosion Control Seeding Rates
  • New Pastures: Plant 25 – 50 lbs. per acre

  • Erosion Control Areas: Plant 50 – 100 lbs. per acre

Lawn Fertilization Recommendations

For optimal turf establishment and performance, apply 5 – 10 lbs. of 16-4-8 slow-release fertilizer per 1,000 sq. ft. four times annually during:

  • Late Spring

  • Mid Summer

  • Late Summer

  • Early Fall

After the lawn becomes fully established, reduce fertilization to:

  • 5 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.

  • Two applications annually during mid-summer and Late Summer

Pasture Fertilization Recommendations

Apply 250 – 350 lbs. of 16-4-8 slow-release fertilizer per acre during:

  • Late Spring

Proper fertilization is essential for maintaining productive Bermuda grass pastures, especially in grazing systems where livestock traffic and forage removal place additional stress on the turf.

Good quality dog ball for playing fetch
Size: Medium
My dog and family love these chuck it balls to play fetch with our dog. They are durable and fun. They squeak which is added fun for any dog! Regular tennis balls my dog chews apart and they get pretty gross after playing and being left outside. These can be easily washed off and cleaned. These balls last! Would recommend to anyone with a dog and would purchase again.

Our German Sheppard loves these
Size: Medium
These cost a bit more than tennis balls, but they are so much nicer and longer lasting. For starters, they stay cleaner than tennis balls because they’re smooth rubber. Dirt won’t build up on them and if anything does stick, like grass or soil, it falls off once the dog slobber dries. They’re also thick, so they don’t fall apart or blow out like a normal tennis ball does in our dog’s jaws after 30 seconds. Our GS chomps on these like crazy and the only damage they’ve suffered is a crack that developed from the edge of the hole, but the crack is growing very slowly and none of these balls have totally failed yet. The balls do whistle when thrown ant high speed and that may help a dog track and locate it, but I’m not sure. Our neighbors hear the whistling too so it’s far from silent. Lastly the orange ball is easy to locate out in our yard, but the dark blue practically disappears.

Great for smaller dogs
Size: Small
These two balls are perfect for the smaller mouthed dog that loves to play fetch. These balls are not only super durable (lots of teeth biting), but float in the baby pool we use for our miniature dachshunds. The value here is much better than you’d find anywhere else. The noise, if bitten hard enough, was “low” at best. Easy to spot/find if overthrown. Will definitely buy again once these are in bad repair; so far, so good-love these for my fur babies!

My dogs favorite balls
Size: Medium
These are great for my dog who always has to have a ball in her mouth. Not too hard so I don't have to worry about her teeth. They last for ever. They do lose their shape a little over time (like I said, she always has a ball in her mouth) they become a little oval in shape. They still bounce, she still chases it and she still chews on it so I don't think she notices or cares. I've gotten her a bag full of these over time and I have only seen one that she chewed a chunk out.
