The Alexander - Radical Delay II+ has some special nostalgia happening inside with some killer 80's sounding delays. With holding down the switch, or attaching an outboard tap tempo, the "Time" functions as a subdivision adding convince to this small pedal. Three major 80's delay modes are here with some great tonal options with the "Tweak" knob. Leaving this knob at 12 o'clock gives the baseline sound, while pulling it forward or back introduces two different effects. "Mod" mode is a pristine delay. Turn the Tweak to the right for a chorus effect, or back to the left for a vibrato that feels like a weakened chip. "Glitch" allow for a ton of weird and almost "broken" delay sounds, similar to a ring modulator or "lo-fi" delay. Bend does a great job at shifting your delay's pitch in a ton of ways. We are really impressed with the versatility on top of how well Alexander nails period effects.Shipping Notes

Flavor is excellent, really tastes like watermelon. I wind up eating about four at a time, so it doesn't go real far, but I like it. I'll keep buying it because I love the taste. It's good for your teeth because of the xlitol. BUT don't let your dog find it. It can kill a dog, the xylitol. So keep it high up where your dog can't get to and wrap it before putting it in the basket so your dog can't get to it. No sugar, so safe for diabetics! High quality, nice packaging. Highly recommended, just keep your dog safe. If you take your dog in the car, don't take this in the car.

Not a fan of this flavor

I am not a fan of this brand of gum. I have purchased in the past Watermelon by Pur unfortunately they don't make that anymore so I tried this one. I personally do not like the taste.

Comprehensive wilderness medicine reference
Format: Paperback
First off, this book should be supplement to actual in-person first aid training and course work. I only have my background in Boy Scouts and work required first aid/cpr/stop the bleed response to base this upon. But there is no substitute for competent in-person and hands on training, even if you have excellent books for reference.
That said, this book does have a very thorough guide on most issues that could be faced in wilderness and emergency situations. The cross over for urban use, would be situations like a natural disaster that renders hospitals and EMS unavailable or over capacity.
It's a very affordable book for all the information it contains, and is published by a reputable school. NOLS has been teaching outdoors skills since it was formed in the 1960s. If you can keep a level head and have decent reading comprehension, this book lays out diagnostic and treatment advice for many life threatening injuries and accidents. I'd recommend this book to anyone looking to expand and supplement their knowledge beyond basic first aid and CPR.
