Recommended to keep on time down to under 5 minutes simply because the heat dissipation so close to your eyes starts to get uncomfortable. You obviously can't see directly out of them because the center of your vision will be blocked, however you can still see quite well below and to the sides. So you can still walk and do most things.
Recommended to find a power bank that supplies at least 2 amps at 5 volts. Most power banks work but randomly some don't seem to want to power them, maybe because of overcurrent protection or some other over zealous current limiting circuitry. This is the version I used for testing, it's small and supplies more than enough power.
