The innovative Glide Gear DEV dolly track system features a custom-designed base plate and frictionless wheel platform that provides glass-like movement while tracking subjects. The 2-ft 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum rails lock into the custom tripod/speaker stand mounts to provide a wide range of sliding shots with various focal lengths. The base plate of this unique tripod dolly track has several 1/4” and 3/8” taps for mounting accessories and can support 50 lb depending on your tripod’s weight capacity.
With its flawless movement and versatile mounting options, the Glide Gear DEV tripod dolly track system offers an innovative solution for dynamic cinematography. The use of high-grade aluminum not only ensures durability but also contributes to a lightweight design, facilitating easy transport and setup. This system is particularly beneficial when shooting in challenging terrains or confined spaces where traditional camera movements might be restricted.
The Glide Gear DEV dolly track’s custom base plate sled can be lifted off the rails quickly for easy transport. You can take this camera track just about anywhere! The front wheels of the base plate can also act as a brake when the wheel plate is turned sideways. The DEV 4’s track mounts act as a stop guard for the base plate.
